Aviva Brown is a Jewish mama of four wild animals, who sometimes resemble children. She lives in North Carolina with them, her husband, and two lazy house cats. The idea came when she noticed a lack of dark-skinned, Jewish children in the books her kids read each night. She now writes books about Jews of Color, different types of Jewish families, and every day Jewish life.
